Atlanta Habitat for Humanity Homebuyer Mobile App Account Deletion
You may request the deletion of your Atlanta Habitat for
Humanity Homebuyer Mobile App account at any time.
Please note that only the mobile app account and it’s specific data will be
deleted – your Homebuyer program participant account and data will be retained
by Atlanta Habitat For Humanity for a variety of reasons, including legal responsibilities.
Once deleted, may re-create your mobile app account at any time by going
through the mobile app sign-up process again, starting from the beginning.
Note that mobile app account deletion does not delete the app itself from your
mobile device. If you want the app deleted from your mobile device as well, follow
your mobile phone’s usual procedure for deleting an app.
There are two ways to delete your Atlanta Habitat Homebuyer mobile app account – use only one of the following:
1) Use the “delete account” menu item in the Atlanta Habitat Homebuyer app itself.
To use this option, you must be signed-in in the app. If you are unable to sign-in for any reason, you must use option (2) below.
Once signed-in, tap the main menu
button (aka ‘Hamburger’ menu) at the top of the screen, then select the ‘delete
account’ menu item (3/4 of the way down the slide-out menubar).
A confirmation dialog will be first shown. If you confirm your request to
delete, the mobile app account will be deleted immediately and you will be
logged-out of the app.
2) Send an
email *from the email address used as a login to your
Homebuyer mobile app account* to: app_support@atlantahabitat.org
and request that your Homebuyer mobile app account be
deleted. See important notes and details in the example email text below.
If for any reason you cannot send the email request from the email account
associated with your Homebuyer program membership, you must instead contact
Atlanta Family Services either by phone or in person for further assistance (
see: https://atlantahabitat.org/homeownership
for contact information ).
Please delete my Homebuyer mobile
app account associated with this email’s sender address as soon as possible.
I understand that:
a)
My request may take up to 7 business
days to be addressed.
b)
This request will only address the
information gathered and stored that is directly associated with my Homebuyer
mobile app account – i.e., the mobile app account itself, as well as it’s
server-side activity logs, and not my overall Homebuyer program member account
information.
c) Requests for deletion of all my other information (Homebuyer Program Member information) is not covered by this request and must be made in a separate request by contacting the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity Family Services group.
